Cherished Memories

After nearly four years and a lot of road in between, two people who were always meant to find their way to each other finally did. It was a long time coming, and it was worth every bit of the wait.

Grief has a way of either taking everything from you or showing you what you were always meant to do with it. Daddy found the latter. Starting with local churches and the communities around them, the skills that were always there finally found a bigger and better place to go.

Home turned out to be the same hallways, streets, and stores Daddy grew up in. The brothers will go to the same school, fish the same spots, and ride the same trails. The familiar was exactly what we all needed, and we wouldn't have found our way back to it without the people who made sure we had somewhere safe to land.

It's been one whole month, one month without you. Mommy and Daddy love you sweet girl, as do Ben Ben, Tao, Bean, and Eli. Watch over us and guide us, we need you more than ever. Rest easy baby girl, we'll see you someday. 2:06 PM, November 5th, 2025.

While we sit here and watch Benny and Mateo eat their morning snack we realize, you most likely would've eaten sandwiches just like the other two with no better example to follow - inside out and from the middle.

It snowed today, it would've been the first you would've seen and you would've loved it. You always loved the sky and being outside.

Mommy used to love to give you airplane rides, watching you fly through the room.
