Losing Alicia Mae has been the hardest thing our family has ever faced. But the grief
we carry is compounded by circumstances beyond our control that have left us struggling
in ways we never imagined.
Just two weeks after Alicia Mae was born, I lost my job through no fault of my own.
One week after she was born, we lost her great-grandmother—the original Alicia, after
whom our precious daughter was named. Now, having lost our baby girl as well, we find
ourselves facing an overwhelming wall of challenges:
💔 Grieving the loss of our daughter and her great-grandmother
🏥 Medical expenses from her emergency care and hospitalization
⚰️ Final expenses and funeral costs
✈️ Travel to Texas to bury Alicia Mae in the family cemetery next to the original Alicia
🏠 Daily living expenses while navigating unemployment
🎄 The approaching holidays, which make job hunting even more difficult
⏳ Slower government benefits processing during this season
We are up against a wall, trying to grieve while also ensuring our daughter is fully
taken care of and laid to rest with dignity alongside her namesake. The outpouring of
love and support from friends, family, and even strangers has been overwhelming and

How Donations Are Used
Every dollar donated goes toward survival, stabilization, and remembrance. None of
the funds will be used for personal gain—only to meet our immediate needs and honor
Alicia Mae's legacy.
Any funds beyond our immediate needs will be dedicated to furthering her memory and
helping others in meaningful ways:
